Our
Trustee Division is equipped to handle all aspects
of estate planning : from the drafting of wills
and trusts to advice on estate duty, capital gains
tax and investments. Our goal is to holistically
advise clients on estate planning and to put in
place estate planning structures which take into
account the short and long-term needs of the client.

WILLS
Many people fight shy of making a will because they associate
it too closely with death. The failure to make a will
may have disastrous and irreversible consequences. In
drafting a will, our purpose is firstly to establish our
client's wishes and then to tailor-make a document which
records them. Our computerised data base enables us to
provide clients with up-to-date information on changes
in the law affecting wills. ESTATES
Winding up a deceased estate may be not only administratively
complex, but also a delicate task requiring thoughtful
consideration. Family members are often cash-strapped
during the initial weeks following death. We are alert
to such problems and help in coping with them. We have
efficient systems which enable us to report, administer
and finalise most estates well within the official designated
time period. We provide guidance to family members and
beneficiaries on tax implications and, through our in-house
financial services department, on investments.
TRUSTS
We assist in the formation and administration of trusts.
We administer numerous inter vivos and will trusts with
particular concern for sound investment and tax planning
issues. We are able to keep clients informed of changes
in legislation and we hold seminars on specific topics
impacting on estate planning and trusts.
With over 55 years combined experience in the field
of estates and trusts, our team of John Wallace, Simon
Francis ( trusts and wills) , Hannah Szudrawski and
Joanne Payne, is well equipped to deal with any query.
